Port Orange, FL – A 66-year-old Port Orange man is hospitalized after police say he crashed his vehicle into a house.
The Port Orange Police Department was called to the scene at a home on Grove View Lane around 2:20 PM Thursday.
POPD Captain Scott Brozio says Kenneth A. Munday was taken by first responders to Halifax Health Medical Center.
“Upon arrival, Port Orange officers found that Munday lost control of his vehicle and drove into the residence at the above location,” Brozio stated. “The resident was not present during the crash.”
Munday’s injuries aren’t life-threatening, per Brozio.
POPD’s traffic unit is actively working the crash investigation and a city building inspector was also called to the scene.
Officers didn’t say what kind of vehicle Munday was driving.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant information can call POPD Officer Phil Slease at 386-506-5838.
