Palm Coast, FL – Flagler County investigators are trying to find the people responsible for stealing thousands of dollars in landscaping equipment over the weekend.

At least 26 storage units and utility trailers were broken into on Saturday at 3 separate locations in Palm Coast and Bunnell, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

FCSO spokeswoman Laura Williams says it looks like the same suspects are behind the break-ins, all of which took place between 7am and 1pm Saturday.

“Thousands of dollars’ worth of landscape equipment has been reported stolen from each of the 3 locations,” Williams added.

The first took place at Town & Country Storage on Enterprise Drive in Bunnell, according to Williams.

“Deputies were called at 7am on Saturday and upon arrival determined 2 vehicle trailers and 8 storage units were broken into,” Williams noted. “No suspects have been identified [in that case].”

The next happened around 12:45pm at Hargrove Mini Storage on Hargrove Grade in Palm Coast.

“Once [deputies] arrived, they identified 8 utility trailers [that] were broken into,” Williams noted. “Although there are no suspects in this case at this time, surveillance video shows a dark-colored sport utility vehicle entered the facility and then depart 4 minutes later.”

The last one, according to FCSO, took place around 15 minutes later at Southside Storage on East Moody Boulevard in Palm Coast.

“Deputies located at least 8 trailers that were burglarized,” Williams said. “At this time, there are no suspects in this case.”

FCSO says it looks like the burglars got in either by cutting a chain at the front gate or tearing a hole in a fence.

Williams says FCSO is still working with the victims to get a complete list of what was taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call FCSO’s Investigative Services Division at 386-586-4801 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward.
