Flagler Beach, FL – Over a month after a Flagler Beach liquor store was robbed of over $1,000 in lottery tickets and cigarettes, police are asking for help to find a man they think might’ve been involved in that robbery.
The Flagler Beach Police Department released photos to the media on Wednesday of the man and the vehicle he reportedly left in soon after the June 7th break-in at A1A Beverage on 1842 South Ocean Shore Boulevard. They’re posted above and below this article.
FBPD Captain Matt Doughney says the man is a “person of interest” and hopes to get a tip from the public that will help police identify and find him.
“The suspect departed as a passenger in a dark colored vehicle, believed to be a Dodge Durango,” Doughney added.
Investigators think at least 3 people broke into the store around 2am that Sunday and believe that the suspects may have been in the store before based on the security video footage.
No injuries were reported and no one was in the store at the time because it was closed, according to Doughney.
Anyone with information can call FBPD at 386-517-2023 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward.
