Volusia County, FL-County Emergency Management officials are huddling and keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Erika as the system progresses through the Caribbean with a current forecast arrival in FL early Monday morning as a hurricane.
The Volusia Emergency Management will be partially activated Saturday morning ahead of the storm arriving here. The EOC will be fully activated Sunday morning.
In Volusia County, the Citizens Information Center hotline number is 866-345-0345 and will be active Saturday. Residents wanting local information may call the EOC at 386-254-1500 today and Friday.
