Daytona Beach, FL – Investigators think the same men who stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and an automated teller machine from stores in Flagler County last week also burglarized 2 other stores in Daytona Beach last week.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office released security video footage on Friday of the July 10th break-in at Greg Lynn Jewelers on 101 Flagler Plaza Drive in Palm Coast.

Both videos of that break-in – which FCSO says happened around 2:30 that morning – are posted below this article.

“The investigation revealed that 2 African American male suspects approached the jewelry store,” stated FCSO spokesman Jim Troiano. “One suspect threw a large cinderblock through the window and entered the business. A second suspect entered the store and both men removed items from the counters and left, taking about $6,000 in jewelry.”

FCSO has also linked both men to a break-in around 3 hours later that same morning at the Hess gas station on 6701 South US 1 in Bunnell.

“In that case, the glass front door was shattered,” Troiano added. “An ATM and 40 cartons of cigarettes were taken.”

The Daytona Beach Police Department believes both men were also involved in the July 9th burglary of the Citgo gas station at 895 North Nova Road and the burglary 3 days later of the Discount Market at 1437 South Ridgewood Avenue.

According to DBPD Detective Elizabeth Daniel, the suspects broke into the Citgo around 1am and tried to take money from an ATM, possibly using a stolen black Dodge truck in the process.

A similar truck was also spotted breaking a door at the Discount Market during the July 12th break-in, according to Daniel.

One of the suspects is believed to be 6 feet tall with a thin build and tattoos on both wrists. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue athletic shorts, white shoes and black and light brown gloves.

The other suspect is believed to be 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, black shorts, black shoes and blue gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call FCSO Detective Joe Costello at 386-586-4801 or DBPD Detective Elizabeth Daniel at 386-671-5218 or email daniele@dbpd.us.
