Palm Coast, FL-Authorities in Flagler County are asking for any information from the public about the armed man who robbed the Palm Coast Staples after closing Saturday, September 12. A $500 reward is being offered in the case. Deputies say the man apparently hid in a store room and came out after the store closed, went to the cash room at the front of the store and held the store manager at gun point. The suspect told the manager to empty the contents of the safe into a backpack and the manager complied.
The suspect told the store manager to get onto the floor with his hands on his head and count to 100. The suspect also took the manager’s cellphone.
The suspect then left the store. The cellphone was found outside the cash room.
The suspect was wearing a Florida State Seminoles gray hooded sweatshirt and is described as a black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, stocky build. It’s unclear what pants or shoes he was wearing. He was armed with a small semi-automatic handgun.
