New Smyrna Beach, FL – There’s a new push to limit the number of hotel rooms in New Smyrna Beach.
City staff recommended during the NSB City Commission meeting on Monday that the city reduce the number of hotel rooms per acre from 75 to 48.
That move comes after over 1,300 registered voters signed a petition asking New Smyrna Beach to cap the number of hotel rooms per acre at 24.
The topic is scheduled to come in front of the NSBCC again in December.
