Palm Coast, FL – A Massachusetts man is wanted in Flagler County for robbing a bank earlier this week at Palm Coast Town Center.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 37-year-old Joseph E. Carrier, a Quincy resident who’s believed to be hiding somewhere in the county.

“A warrant has been issued for his arrest with a $100,000 bond,” said FCSO spokeswoman Laura Williams. “The suspect is likely to be in the company of a white female.”

Carrier is described as a white male with facial hair who stands 6’1 and weighs around 150 pounds.

A photo of the suspect released by FCSO hours after the robbery of the Wells Fargo branch at 836 Belle Terre Parkway is posted above this article.

According to FCSO officials, the suspect was wearing a gray baseball cap with a blue and white Chevrolet logo on the front, a pale pink or white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans when he approached the teller and demanded money.

Williams says the suspect came into the bank just before 2pm Monday, implied to the teller that he had a gun and left the scene in a black or maroon Buick Encore after getting money from the teller.

Investigators haven’t said at this point how much money the suspect took.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is urged to call FCSO Detectives Jodi Glasgow or Jon Dopp at 386-586-4801 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477. You can remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward.
