Daytona Beach, FL – For the second time in just over a week, a bomb threat forces the evacuation of a building at Daytona State College.

Members of the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad gave the all-clear for the 530 building around 10:45 PM Thursday, over an hour after a janitor discovered the threat written on a bathroom wall.

According to the incident report, a female custodian told the Daytona Beach Police Department that she went into a men’s bathroom in order to clean it around 9 PM and found the message written inside a bathroom stall.

Officers say the message expressed support for the terror group ISIS and indicated that there was a “box” somewhere inside.

Campus security officials called DBPD, who in turn called for VCSO’s Bomb Squad to clear the building with bomb-sniffing dogs.

A similar message written on a bathroom wall at the DSC Arts & Sciences Building forced that building to be evacuated the day before Thanksgiving.

Like in Thursday night’s incident, campus activity resumed as normal after Bomb Squad personnel came out and found nothing suspicious.

There are no suspects in either incident at this time, according to DBPD.
