Ormond Beach, FL – Police are investigating after a 2-year-old boy drowned Friday evening in Ormond Beach.
The Ormond Beach Police Department says it happened around 6:30pm Friday at the home at 20 Rainbow Falls Drive. That’s in The Falls subdivision off of Clyde Morris Boulevard.
OBPD Sergeant Keith Walker says the child was found by his father in a pond behind the house.
“CPR was performed on the child and he was transported to Florida Hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” Walker added. “The investigation is on-going.”
