DeLand, FL – Volusia County public school students might have to start wearing uniforms by the 2016-17 school year.
The county’s School Board is kicking the idea around and will have a presentation on the matter during Tuesday afternoon’s meeting in DeLand.
School officials say bringing in uniforms could improve academic performance and discourage bullying.
