Flagler County, FL-What was supposed to be an overnight DUI checkpoint in Flagler County Saturday into Sunday was shut down early due to the weather here from remnants of Tropical Storm Erika.
Flagler Sheriff’s Office PIO James Troiano says the checkpoint was suspended at 11 PM Saturday night. Deputies broke down the checkpoint at 12:10 AM Sunday.
In just a couple of hours, deputies made two arrests and wrote fifteen citations. Of the citations, three were criminal and four were written warnings. Three vehicles were towed.
One driver was arrested for DUI. Another driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
