Daytona Beach, FL – All school buses in Volusia County will now be equipped with a system that makes students verify who they are before coming on board.
Substitute bus drivers will no longer be allowed to use a bus without that system in place, according to Volusia County Schools.
That move comes after a 27-year-old man allegedly managed to board a bus heading to Seabreeze High in Daytona Beach recently and then threatened to blow the school up.
