Daytona Beach, Fl-Police have charged a man in Daytona Beach with holding a woman captive, sexually assaulting her repeatedly and starving her over about a week.
Police say the woman was finally able to escape and drive to police headquarters when 28-year-old Robert Pettis went into a liquor store.
Police say Pettis was also building a bomb in the apartment where he allegedly held the woman.
Her 4-year-old child was in the apartment.
