Flagler County, FL-Troopers are investigating a single truck accident that killed a 25-year-old Lancaster, Pennsylvania man. He was a passenger in a 2008 Toyota Tacoma truck driven by 24-year-old Tyler Dutton of Bunnell. Dutton is at Flagler Hospital.
Troopers say the accident happened just before 2 AM this morning when the truck was heading northbound on US 1 just north of South Old Dixie Highway. The truck, for unknown reasons, went off onto the grass median and into the southbound lanes of the roadway. It flipped over several times onto the west grass shoulder and ended up on its wheels. The passenger was ejected and died at the scene.
FHP says it’s unknown if either driver or passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
