Daytona Beach, FL – Investigators are on the case after 2 men were shot in Daytona Beach on Halloween.

The Daytona Beach Police Department says it happened around 6pm Saturday near the intersection of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard and Walnut Street.

Officers responding to a call of shots fired in the area found 36-year-old Levar Williams shot once on the left side of his back and 33-year-old Leroy Harvey shot once in the leg.

DBPD says it appears that another man – described as a black man with short hair who stands around 5’7 – shot the victims during an argument of some kind.

The suspect left the scene in a small 4-door black car and may be wearing a gray or brown shirt and brown pants.

Both injuries are not life-threatening, but Williams is listed in serious condition.

DBPD isn’t releasing any other details on the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call DBPD at 386-671-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward.
