Orlando, FL – 4 Volusia County men – including a father and his 2 sons – are locked up after authorities charge them with stealing over $7 million in toner cartridges.

57-year-old David C. Haynes, 35-year-old Bryan A. Day, 34-year-old Jason D. Haynes and 31-year-old Kyle L. Haynes turned themselves in on Monday and have since left Volusia County Jail after each posted $13,000 bond.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says another man – 75-year-old Robert L. Fisher – is also wanted in connection with this case.

FDLE agents believe Fisher – the owner of RBM Imaging – worked with the 4 suspects already in custody to get toner at no cost from the Xerox Corporation and sell it fraudulently through 2 other companies, HDH Graphics and Aldar Securities.

According to investigators, Fisher – a registered sex predator – got the toner for free from Xerox because he was an authorized reseller and lied to Xerox about the amount of toner he was actually using to fulfill service contracts.

Day and the 2 oldest Haynes – all from Ormond Beach – are each charged with racketeering and 3 counts of grand theft. So is the youngest Haynes, a DeLand resident.

All 3 of the Haynes are connected to the Haynes Brothers furniture stores.

FDLE estimates the scam involved around $7.2 million in toner cartridges from Xerox between June 2010 and June 2013.
