Daytona Beach, FL – Detectives continue to look for the man who dressed like a woman while robbing a bank in Daytona Beach over the weekend.

The Daytona Beach Police Department released security video on Tuesday showing the wanted suspect in that Saturday morning robbery of the PNC Bank branch at 1537 South Nova Road. It’s posted above this article.

DBPD also released additional video stills of the suspect in the hopes that someone will recognize him and call police. Those stills are posted below.

Officers say the suspect – described as a thin black male of dark complexion between the ages of 20 and 40 – entered the bank around 11:30am Saturday and passed a note to the teller saying the bank was being robbed.

Police think the suspect – who stands around 5’7 and weighs around 170 pounds – was holding a McDonald’s bag and dressed in all-white hospital scrubs, complete with a black “bob cut” wig and black sunglasses.

DBPD says the teller placed a dye pack into the bag along with money and the suspect left the bank walking north through the parking lot behind Sears before going south across Beville Road.

No weapon was seen or was implied by the suspect, per DBPD.

Detectives say it looks like the same man entered a TD Bank across the street the day before the robbery and left the bank after he was approached by bank personnel.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DBPD Detective Darrell Runge at 386-671-5242 or runged@dbpd.us. Those who want to remain anonymous can also call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 and possibly qualify for a $5,000 cash reward.
