Ormond Beach, FL – No injuries are reported after fire rips through part of a triplex in Ormond Beach.
The Ormond Beach Fire Department says around $20,000 in damage was done to the residence at 606 Robin Road Tuesday afternoon.
OBFD spokeswoman Loretta Moisio says firefighters were called out just before 4pm.
“The occupant of Unit C reported the smell of smoke,” Moisio stated. “OBFD arrived to find Unit B involved with fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire in the bedroom.”
No one was in the 1-bedroom unit at the time of the fire, according to Moisio.
The State Fire Marshal’s office will be investigating the cause.
