Daytona Beach, FL – Twin brothers with long rap sheets join their dad in state prison after reaching plea deals with the 7th Circuit State Attorney’s Office.
28-year-olds Aaron & Anthony Annatone each agreed on Monday to spend over a decade behind bars on burglary and grand theft charges, according to State Attorney RJ Larizza during a recent appearance on WNDB’s Marc Bernier Show.
Aaron will serve 12 years in prison after pleading to charges of home burglary, 2 counts of grand theft, accessory, principal to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and conspiracy to commit possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Anthony will serve 13 and a half years in prison after pleading to charges of home burglary and 3 counts of grand theft, including grand theft auto.
Prosecutors say the twins – who have each served time in the past for aggravated assault with a weapon – committed at least 5 burglaries in Daytona Beach, Port Orange and South Daytona as well as steal motorcycles in a chop shop operation.
Police say the twins were also responsible for stealing 250 gold necklaces from a jeweler at the Daytona Flea and Farmer’s Market over 3 years ago.
Volusia County Jail records show Aaron’s been booked there 33 times since October 2005 while Anthony’s been booked there 20 times since June 2005.
Anthony Annatone Jr. – the twins’ father and a former Daytona Beach police officer – is serving 3 years in prison after his conviction last year for dealing oxycodone. He’s been booked at VCJ 7 times since June 2003.
