DeLand, FL – Thursday’s meeting of the Volusia County Council in chambers was the last for a while. Council meetings will move to the Historic Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand while renovation work is done on the current council chambers.
December and January meetings will be held in room 204 on the second floor in the building at 125 West New York Avenue in DeLand.
County officials say meeting audio will continue to stream live on the internet.
Renovations are expected to be done in time for council to move back to chambers for the meeting on February 4.
