Palm Coast, FL – 2 wanted liquor thieves are also suspects in several similar open cases in Volusia and Flagler counties.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office released photos of those women on Wednesday, saying each stole bottles of tequila and vodka from the Publix on Palm Coast Parkway around 5:45 PM Sunday. Those photos are posted above and below this article.
FCSO spokeswoman Laura Williams says security video shows the 2 women went into the store around 5 PM and left with a bottle of Patron Silver Tequila and a Grey Goose Vodka gift set.
“Each concealed a bottle of liquor in a bag and left the store without paying,” Williams added.
The value of the items taken was around $70, according to the FCSO incident report.
The suspects are described as 2 black women, one with a lighter complexion than the other and the one with the darker complexion wearing glasses.
“The pair is believed to have left the store in a red sport utility vehicle,” Williams stated.
A Publix store manager told FCSO these women have been seen shoplifting in the store before.
Investigators think these women are also responsible for similar thefts at a Flagler County Walgreens and a South Daytona store.
Anyone with information is asked to contact FCSO Deputy Shane Meehan at 386-313-4911 or smeehan@flaglersheriff.com. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 to remain anonymous and eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
