Daytona Beach, FL – Some of the best youth football players in the country are getting ready for a national showcase in Daytona Beach.

Practices begin Tuesday for the 10th Annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. Games are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex on Turnbull Bay Road and Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium.

“This is a great time of year to welcome student athletes to Daytona Beach,” said Tom Caradonio, executive director of the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Municipal Stadium is a top notch facility and this event creates a positive impact to start off the New Year.”

Kids as young as the 1st grade all the way to high school seniors have been invited to the competition, some of which will be live-streamed online through Fox Sports.

Nearly 50 college scouts will be on hand, especially for the Senior Bowl game held in Municipal Stadium on New Year’s Day. 8 of the country’s top high school players will be at the game, according to CVB spokeswoman Lori Campbell Baker.

Past editions have featured current National Football League stars such as Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas and Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden.

CVB officials say nearly 1,000 attendees will be in the area for the event, generating 3,439 estimated room nights and a estimated economic impact of $600,000. Most of those attendees will be at the Daytona Beach Hilton, the host hotel for the event.

Tickets during game week are $20 and will be available at the gate. For more information, click here.
