Oak Hill, FL – A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle while walking on Interstate 95 in Volusia County.
The accident was reported around 2:20 PM New Year’s Day on the southbound side of Mile Marker 236 in Oak Hill. That’s near the Brevard-Volusia county line.
The victim was airlifted to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford for treatment.
I-95 was briefly closed in that area while first responders helped the victim. It has since re-opened.
No other information has been released at this time, including the victim’s identity and age.
