Daytona Beach, FL – Someone won a pile of lottery cash in Daytona Beach the day before a massive Powerball jackpot goes up for grabs.
The Florida Lottery reports that 2 winning Fantasy 5 tickets were purchased prior to Friday night’s drawing.
One of the winning tickets of 03-15-18-28-33 was purchased at the Marathon gas station on 971 West International Speedway Boulevard.
That winning ticket will split a prize of $121,463.27 with a Quick Pick winning ticket bought in Campbellton.
365 tickets won $107 by getting 4 of the 5 numbers right. 10,616 tickets won $10 by getting 3 of the 5 numbers right. A free ticket is awarded to the 102,399 who got 2 of the 5 numbers.
A ticket bought in New York was the sole winner of the $15 million Mega Millions jackpot, also on Friday night. The winning numbers were 11-39-51-57-75 with a megaball of 02 and a megaplier of 05.
There were no winners for Friday night’s Lucky Money jackpot. That $2 million jackpot rolls over to the January 12th drawing.
Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot is now up to $900 million, according to the Florida Lottery.
