Grand Island, NE – The Edgewater woman who was charged after she drowned a puppy in the bathroom of a Nebraska airport has been sentenced to two years probation.

57-year-old Cynthia Anderson appeared in a Hall County courtroom. She had entered a no contest plea to the charge of animal cruelty resulting in death.
Anderson drowned the puppy in January when TSA refused her boarding a flight due to the young age of the dog and it not being properly contained.
Another passenger found the dog dead in a bathroom toilet and alerted authorities.
