Flagler County, FL-A homeowner told deputies two men broke into his Flagler Beach home Tuesday afternoon when he was there. He yelled and scared them away. The suspects were arrested nearby.
The resident said he heard the doorbell ring at his home at 37 Bulow Woods Circle around 1 pm Tuesday, but he didn’t answer the door. A short time later he heard noise at the back door and saw two men forcing their way inside. He yelled at them and they took off. He told deputies he saw a white Kia leaving the area.
A deputy spotted a white Kia on John Anderson Parkway minutes later and stopped it. Three people inside were detained in what was determined to be a vehicle stolen from Kentucky. Below are in custody:
Bradley Douglas Pyles of 4119 Landsdown Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and grand theft.
Shawn V. Olique of 461 Lynburg Lane, Lexington, Kentucky. He was also charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and grand theft.
A 22-year-old woman in the vehicle has not yet been charged with any crime.
The two men charged have also been linked to crimes in Ohio and other parts of Florida. The investigation continues.
