Flagler County, FL - Authorities in Flagler County are looking for the driver of the vehicle who left the scene this morning after a student was hit on the way to school.
Flagler County Public Schools spokesman Jason Wheeler said it happened at Brookside Lane and Belle Terre Boulevard when the 7th grader from Indian Trails Middle School was hit. Wheeler says the parent of the student decided to take the student to the hospital as a precaution.
Deputies are looking for a small, black, four-door car, possibly a Toyota with a white stripe on the side.
