DeLeon Springs, FL – A fire Sunday night at the Speedway Country Store near DeLeon Springs is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
The business is at 1589 East State Road 40.
Volusia County Fire Services was assisted by the Ormond Beach Fire Department in putting out the flames once the call for help came in just before midnight.
The building was a total loss.
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office officials say the building had been unoccupied for some time and that there was no power running to the building.
