Daytona Beach, FL – Jason Aldean joins the headline acts taking part in the inaugural edition of a large country music festival in Daytona Beach.
Aldean will play alongside Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson and nearly 40 other acts during the “Country 500″, a 3-day music festival at Daytona International Speedway.
The full lineup for the festival – scheduled for all 3 days of the 2016 Memorial Day weekend – was unveiled during a press conference at the Speedway on Tuesday morning.

Aldean will be the closing act on Friday night and Bryan will do the same on Sunday night, with Florida Georgia Line – featuring Brian Kelley, the son of Ormond Beach Mayor Ed Kelley – being the closing act on Saturday night.
All those acts will play in the DIS infield all 3 days of the festival, using 3 specially designed performance stages.
The Country 500 – also known as “The Great American Music Fest at Daytona” – is expected to be an annual event, with attendees having the option of camping out in the infield in much the same fashion as is currently allowed for the NASCAR and Rolex 24 races.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet many of the country stars at “meet & greet” events on pit road and the garage area.
Food booths, food trucks, carnival rides, arcade games, cooling water elements, country-and-western merchandise, and fireworks are also part of the 3-day festival.
Camping and VIP packages are now on sale, including a special early bird package worth $199 that includes general admission passes.
The event is being organized by DIS and AEG Live & Festival Productions.
