Daytona Beach, FL – The new Daytona International Speedway is going to be a lot more hospitable, especially for those willing to pay big bucks.
Speedway officials announced the complete list of new hospitality options available once Daytona Rising – the $400 million renovation of the historic motorsports facility – wraps up early next year.
“Daytona Rising is enabling us to elevate our hospitality offerings,” said DIS President Joie Chitwood III. “By moving all hospitality from a temporary outdoor village to a new climate-controlled permanent environment, we’re able to deliver a world-class experience.”
Over 60 luxury suites with track side views will be available for purchase along with patio and club seat options by the time the Rolex 24 fires up in January. That’s around a month before the 58th annual Daytona 500.
31 of the suites – known as the “High Banks” – offer a climate-controlled and private environment at the mezzanine level, with the seats located outside so patrons can view the on-track action.
25 other suites known as the “Midway” are designed for groups of up to 500 people, with access to a fully-stocked bar and high-end concessions on the mezzanine as well as reserved seats.
There’s also the “Rolex 24 At Daytona Lounge” suites next to an exclusive lounge that has a seating area with flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi. There’s also an outdoor patio with stadium seats, a buffet and a bar.
Other suites include the Sky – featuring indoor theater-style seating designed for corporate entertainment – and the France, the most upscale option. DIS officials say that suite has “unrivaled” sightlines, gourmet food, a “lavish” entertainment space and its own private entrance.
Also available are Loge Boxes, a private box with open-air seating and FanVision viewing devices that provide in-car camera video and audio along with real-time statistics.
Those who sign up for a special all-inclusive program will also get access to Harley J’s, an area with a fully-stocked bar and buffet that also comes with reserved stadium seats.
Those who buy stadium seats can also get access to Harley J’s – named after the same Harley J. Earl whose name is on the Daytona 500 trophy – for an additional price.
