Daytona Beach, FL-What DIS officials call the “supersign” began going up on at Daytona International Speedway Sunday morning. The sign is located near the new center injector/entrance.
The “DAYTONA” part of the sign alone measures more than 13 feet tall and the “INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY” portion is more than 12 feet tall. The length of the entire sign is 355 feet.
The letters traveled on two semi-trucks almost 15 hundred miles over six states to get here.
