Daytona Beach, FL – The largest annual classic car show and swap meet in the United States comes to Daytona International Speedway this Thanksgiving weekend.

The 42nd annual Daytona Turkey Run begins Thanksgiving Day and will run every day until Sunday.

Organizers say ticket sales for the 2015 edition are on pace to break last year’s record sales number of just over 150,000, especially thanks to the good weather that’s expected for all 4 days.

Over 6,000 classic cars will be on display, of which many will be for sale in the “Car Corral” area.

Turkey Run officials say vendor numbers are already ahead of last year’s pace for the Car Corral and many other areas, including the Artisan Alley and the Swap Meet.

Organizers also plan to have a recreational vehicles lot featuring RV’s for sale and on display near Lake Lloyd thanks in part to Lazydays, a title sponsor of the Turkey Run.

A new feature this year is the “Dream Build” where a group of people will attempt to build a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air from the ground up in 4 days using nothing but parts found at the Turkey Run.

Hours will be from 8 AM to 4 PM on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and on Saturday. Sunday’s hours are from 8 AM to 2 PM.

Admission is $15 per day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and $10 on Sunday for adults. Kids under 11 get in free.

For the first time ever, you can get updated parking and traffic information on your smartphone using the Turkey Run app that’s available at the official website (click here).
