Daytona Beach, FL – Think of it as a snapshot of the health and health needs of local residents. The Community Health Needs Assessment is underway here and is especially interested in reaching what local health officials describe as “underserved” populations.
The Volusia County Health Department and local non-profit hospitals are coordinating efforts this year and that’s new to the survey. The survey is also gathering information from Flagler County residents.
Florida Hospital’s Jill Piazza in a recent interview said the results will be used to help guide funders and decision makers locally.
The survey can be completed anonymously and only asks for your zip code to better locate results. The survey online is here.
It takes about five minutes to complete.
